از ابتدای امسال به خودم قول داده ام در مسابقه ماهانه داستان پنجاه و سه کلمه ای مجله آمریکایی Prime را شرکت کنم تا اینکه بالاخره یک روز نوشته هایم به درجه ای از کیفیت برسد که برنده مسابقه ماهانه بشوم.
امتیاز این مسابقه به این است که تنها باید در 53 کلمه داستانت را بنویسیهمین و بس. نه یک کلمه بیشتر و نه یک کلمه کمتر. اینجاست که قدر کلمات را می دانی. جایی برای زیاده گویی نیست. نمی توانی هذیان گویی کنی.باید خیلی سریع همه اجازی پازل را بچینی و در پایان ضربه نهایی ار وارد کنی. اصلا خاصیت داستانک ها یا داستان های مینیمال به همین است.
شاید برای مخاطب امروز که وقت یا علاقه ای به خواندن ندارد، دغدغه اش معیشت است و همیشه در حال دویدن در مسیر کار و خانه است داستانک ها مناسب تر باشند.
